Even if the building has only one major circulation space, incorporating greenery into this space can still provide a range of benefits. The “Green Spine” is clearly visible from the Cyberport. Besides having sustainable and functional benefits, it is also a space to promote interaction. With this particular circulation, all programs are connected together, encouraging visitors to interact with the users, e.g., staff and office workers. At the end of the spine, all the way on the top, visitors are rewarded with a high-tech exhibition and a viewing deck able to see the sunset.

The Resource Center is part of a larger Master Layout Plan. Cyber-Lagoon is an incubation hub designed to foster innovation and collaboration through water-human interaction. With a focus on sustainability and seamless integration with the surrounding environment, Cyber-Lagoon offers an unparalleled experience for both work and leisure. By complementing the seaside location, we’ve created a truly unique and dynamic space. We prioritized visual corridors, preserving the view from HKU business. The site features a gradual transition from high to low-rise buildings, ending at the amphitheater at the lowest level. The axis of the arcade and HKU helped create a dramatic curve that enhances the overall aesthetic.
